Accessibility Statement
pages.supodo.com is the platform behind the websites supodo runs for sports clubs, associations and events. supodo aims to make it usable by everyone, regardless of ability or technology. Our benchmark is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and the European standard EN 301 549.
What this statement covers
This statement covers the platform's own pages on pages.supodo.com, including:
- the platform page at pages.supodo.com and this statement;
- the editor's sign-in page and the pages for resetting a password;
- the editor's start page and the editor itself, where teams maintain their website's pages, menus, media and settings.
Signing in with a supodo account continues on supodo's sign-in pages, which are covered by the accessibility statement on supodo.com.
The websites that run on the platform for clubs and events – for example kleinwuchssport.de, wdg2023.com and wdg2027.com – are not covered. They are offered by the organisations that run them.
The editor is built on the open-source software Payload CMS. Its forms, lists, selection menus, text editor and password-reset pages are Payload's own interface, which supodo adapts in colour and layout; the sign-in page, the start page and the platform page are supodo's own. Where a barrier lies in Payload's interface, we work around it with our own adaptations where that is possible, and otherwise report it to Payload's developers.
supodo consists of several products, each with its own accessibility statement. An overview is on supodo.com: Accessibility statement on supodo.com
Conformance status
The platform's pages are partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means some requirements are not yet fully met. The known points concern the editor and the password-reset pages and are listed below; for the platform page and the sign-in page we know of none.
Non-accessible content
Currently known:
- The pages for requesting and setting a new password have no landmarks such as a main region, so screen-reader users cannot jump straight to the form. Affects WCAG 1.3.1 and 2.4.1. Part of Payload's interface.
- On the editor's start page, the date of the last change on each website card is grey at about 3.5:1 instead of the required 4.5:1. Affects WCAG 1.4.3.
- In the website switcher at the top of the editor, the button that opens the list can receive keyboard focus but is hidden from screen readers. Affects WCAG 4.1.2. Part of Payload's interface.
- In the editor, field descriptions and placeholder texts are light grey at about 2.7:1 instead of the required 4.5:1. Affects WCAG 1.4.3. The grey is Payload's standard colour.
Not yet tested
The following points cannot be judged by machine, or have not yet been checked. We make no claims about them:
- How screen readers announce the sign-in page – its error messages and the emergency sign-in – and the editor's content-language switch, which reloads the page.
- Payload's own editor views – lists, edit forms, the text editor, media uploads and the preview – have not yet been checked automatically as a whole. Checked so far are the parts supodo adds or recolours.
- Whether the pages can be used at 400% browser zoom. That the platform page, this statement and the sign-in page fit 320 pixels wide without sideways scrolling is checked automatically; real browser zoom also enlarges the text, which is a different case.
How we tested
This statement is based on an internal self-assessment, last carried out on 11 October 2026. It rests on automated checks with axe-core 4.13 and Playwright 1.61 across the WCAG 2.0/2.1/2.2 Level A and AA rule set, plus four rules the tool classes as “good practice”, with no part of the page excluded: the platform page and this statement in German and English at 1280 and 320 pixels wide, the sign-in page in both languages and widths and with an error message, and the editor's start page for a user with and without access to a website. These tests also operate the skip link, the language switch and the sign-in link with the keyboard. The contrast of the colours supodo sets in the editor was calculated with the WCAG formula on 16 September 2026. No screen-reader testing and no external audit have taken place.
What we are doing next
Next come the colour of the dates on the start page, the website switcher, an automated check of Payload's editor views, and a pass with screen readers over the sign-in page and the editor. We will update this page as soon as the status changes.
